Fork Bleeder Valves

Are they really needed?? My SD is only straped down about 3 times per year, so I'm not too worried about the seals, or should I be.

And correct me if I'm wrong, unscrewing the bleeder screws releases the air also, so the bleeder valves are just for convenience.

Yeah they are for convenience. Remember to take the weight off the front wheel before bleeding though

Good if you strap your bike down, safety measure to ensure you don't blow a fork seal on the way to the track.

That's the way I was told to do it by stealer.

Darren at MCT told me not to bleed them at all though. Who knows what's correct

Did you take yours to MCT again yet re the wobble of death?

manual recommends bleed every other service I think it is (or it could be every service?) its in there somewhere. can't remember exact but its not every ride so they are just handy to have but not worth buying unless your a complete nob with a screwdriver and likely to fook your fork screw.
