fork Oil

apologies in advance if this has already been discussed ( i just don't feel like searching at the moment - does take time )

Has anyone tried different weights of fork oil and how has effected front end performance ?

I'm using 2.5 wt

it does not affect high speed damping much. IMO this is where WP got it wrong. the roads here in so cal are horrible. roads are worn out plus earthquakes cause all the seams to be mismatched.

if you are changing your fork oil, can you tell me where you got the socket for the top of the forks i could really us one .i have asked my dealer and it was a no go .thank's guy's

FWIW, I just unscrew the preload nut all the way + and it'll undo the cap. make sure your upper triple bolt is loose. unless your cap is on real tight you SHOULD be OK. with the o-ring seal you don't need to torque much.

I know it's not the correct way but I've done it 3 - 4 times now without an issue.
