Firstly we're back!
The reason the forum was down for those of you who don't know is as follows. The site was never actually not live. The problem was with Tucows. They control the domain names and when you register a domain you have to leave a email and phone number. The guy Angelo aka Someone (owner and guy who continues to pay for the server) got to setup the site has since changed his phone number and email address, it was 2006 when it was setup. Tucows on occasion try and contact people with these details. If there is no reply they take the domain down. Without this there is no way to actually reach the server even though its still live. It's taken quite a while to sort this out with Tucows. They don't move quickly but finally it's done and we have access again
So contrary to what we've seen posted elsewhere by a couple of people it had nothing to do with Angelo not paying the bills. Even though he no longer owns a Superduke he continues to pay and is very happy to continue doing so. He's really proud to see what he created still going strongly 7 years later. So big thanks to him for that and sorting the issue out and getting us back the forum we all love so much. Also for his continued finical support for the forum.
So there you have it.
