#2The kit I got (through KTM)
had the 100/200/400 cams, and the 200 made as much difference as I needed. The 100 is the 1:1 cam, as in the same as stock. The 400 is too gradual at first, and then makes up the difference at the end by being too abrupt.
200 or 300 is perfect, 300 for heavyhanded riders or slippery/bumpy conditions.
No reset, just grease & install properly, and let the engine warm up to 3 bars before touching the throttle.

#3Thanks. I'd noticed although there were so many people saying that the G2 300 was the cure, some wanted quicker throttles. And I've never before wanted anything but a quicker throttle. (ok, "never say never.")
But the OE throttle tube is sloppy, much worse than the one on my Bajaj Pulsar, and not good like the Magura one on my MZ. It's not only side-to-side play, it's loose on the diameter at the cam end, I hate that. It's a pos.

#4I run the 3, heavy handed indeed! do not adjust the throttle cables unless you intend on a reset from the dealer.
believe it was Smoky74 said this is so. Said that changing the throttle cam and adjusting the throttle cable slack will constitute a special KTM tool to be
used to reset the ECU,er,.... stepper motor, summat. I did not monkey with the cable play, it was fine when I started and the same after the G-3 installation.

Sorry but could you explain the problem and what this mod does.
I have an 08 SD with Akro Evo's and don't think I am having any problems.

#14if you want less throttle snatch use the RC8 progressive throttle tube cost a lot less than the G2.
