hi guys, considering putting the G2 throttle cam on my SDR...any ideas where to buy them from [UK] and which cam is best suited for my bike to cancel out the snatchiness at low revs...
Your throttle being snatchy can be solved by other means than a new cam. Your O2 sensors, stock fuel map, and stock airbox all contribute to the problem. Unless you're 100% set on keeping your engine stock I'd address those first. I replaced\disabled all of the above and I actually bought a bigger cam which increased the responsiveness because my bike was so smooth.
Don't think there is a supplier in the UK still There is either th US or Sweden I think. I bought mine from the US. TBH longer cams just disguise the problem. If you really want to get rid of it, get some O2 eliminators or tune them off in the ECU with TuneECU. Some after market cans, Motobox and custom map is the way to be rid of any hint of snatch and release the full power of the beast. I went from a 200 cam before mods to a .25 which is some 20/25% faster than standard. Love the short throttle and wouldn't have her any other way
from what i gather the bike has had these mods done to it by previous owner
300mm HP slip ons,

Power Commander 3 and Leo vinci map ....o2 eliminators.... BMC air filter

Thing is, I do quite a bit of riding in slow traffic and a lot of the roads around here are very bumpy and twisty
