Try this at home children, it’s kind of cool
Last night I went out for a bit of a thrash on the bike as it was the last for the dry roads for a while. Came back, rode bike into garage, switch off light and a final glance back into the pitch black garage before closing the door.
Something caught my eye. It was the rear downpipe and it was glowing quite brightly! This is the first time I have ever seen that on one of my bikes and it looked quite ethereal. Everything else was pure black, just the downpipe floating in a sea of darkness looking solid and somehow not solid at the same time.
Anyway it’s a game we could all play so next time you park up in a properly dark place let you eyes adjust and then take a look yourself.
I might try and get a picture next time but my guess is that it’s better seen for real.
