http://www.motomfg.com

They will be ready for the superduke in approx 2 weeks

You can get them with wheels or without wheels

SHIPPING IS FLAT COST OF $35 in the USA

Cost of the stands is going to be 10% off the price on their website!

So post up who is interested! more info and pictures to follow!!!
I'm in,,,,,how low will the price go

I am dropping my bike off at Motomfg's shop tomorrow so that he can fit the stand to our bikes. The stand is nicer than the Bursig for sure, better build quality.
i bet someone who bought the bursig stand is happy !!!
Sweet stand. Beats hanging the bike from the rafters when the wheels are off.
Norbert has one of the Bursig units and he had nothing but praise for it,,,you can work on the entire bike while up on one,,,,can't go wrong with one,,,,,but one with a made in the USA sticker makes more sense for us on this side of the pond,,,at a better price,,, still pricey however,,,,with wheels at $409,,,plus shipping,,,,,I'm still in
Hmmmmm, I have 2 sets of front and rear Hindle stands (the 2nd set is for the SM... which I never got the bobbins welded onto) and a LP steering stem stand... sell them all and get one of these?
I'm in, no wheels. I like tge way it rolls but I do not see the need. If we get enough total I think maybe the wheels would not seem so pricey with a touch more discount.
Let's get pricing in maybe stages. ten is one price twenty another thirty even less.
I have a six car garage with no cars needing a spot indoors. Yes, motorcycle heaven.
I always freak out when I raise my front with one of those stands that hook under the forks and have no ability to do easy fork removal on new bikes that you cannot jack up from under the engine. Great video, I was sold the minute I watched it.
We mayhaps should start a thread in parts and axe ex or greeze.
Right under the group buy for steering dampers

place is located just outside buffalo ny fyi
Count me in, where doni send the money?
just so everybody is up to date the stands should be finished in 2 weeks I will then inform everyone how payment and shipping with the discount will work...
I'm in.
Will it fit a Supermoto R 990 too? Thinking pin size/is the the determinate--and they should be the same for both bikes?
would think they would be same for both bikes but don't quote me on that one...so far we have about 7 people that are in for sure....I will work out with with Greg at motomfg how he wants to do this prolly just gonna be a codeword or some secret spy handshake when you order your stand for the discount....I am waiting on pictures of the stand and will post those soon as I get them.
I am still in, code words,"Two wheels up"
Get a paypal address and we can direct connect when they say go, yes?
I'm still in too.
Sorry I'm out for 400 bucks transport
Looks like I might be in!
Just waiting on an email...
Bursig with wheels was $665USD NO DELIVERY!
I'd made a promise to purchase through someone else but $200USD is a massive difference.
How long till we know if this is still on?
Interested. But depends how much shipping can be.
the buy is definately on...we just get a bigger discount with over 10 people who buy one...shipping is $35 anywhere in the usa
Can you tell me how big the box is?
I may be able to organise some shipping for the Aussie guys.
Still waiting on the email, but should be tomorrrow or the next day.
I'm bringing a bike over and I haven't made the crate yet, so I may be able to make it a little bigger to accomodate the Aussies.
It will land in Perth WA.
Let me know and I'll try and find out by Wednesday at the latest.
just got this from greg at moto mfg

The box weighs 56lbs and measures 24"x24"x12". They should be back from the plater by the end of the week.
Hello,
Thanks for your interest in our paddock stands. We will have the adapter plates back from the plater in just a few days. I will post up pictures of a superduke on the stand then.

If you would like to get in on the group buy pricing please send me an email to [email protected] and I will let you know how to get the special pricing. I would only like to leave this group buy open till 11/21. Does that work for everyone?

If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email.
Thanks

I will have two wheels up in no tyme. I ordered mine sans wheels and got a veiw of it on a trial bike in a picture emailed to me.
For those of you that don't know me, that would be all, ones that dew, say my last name should be Stein. What I am trying to say that I am a cheap bastard.
That means that I think all you other cheap bastards soyld pull out thier passwords to paypal and order right away.
The twentyfirst is coming up fast and if we don't get nine more buy then I am loosing some serious duckets.
Five percent of three something is enough to get your asses off the fence and give me a couple quarts of oil I'm pretty sure.
You do the math I'll bet it would buy a Sandusky bullet or two.

Yeh frugal, thats the word I was looking for. It appears that the wheels can be added in the future to me.
Greg has a pic he will send you. I am not so sure that wheels are the best way to go unless you need to skoot it sideways to set the bike in a limited space. They may hell in getting the bike recieved into its lifting possition, but I think it may add trouble while I'm beating the thing with a hammer, which is my usuall fix for just about everything since I fould it worked on nails and my wife in the same manner.
My wife thinks that the video was top notch and she has a good I for that sort of stuff.
I had to find my note with my paypal password and it had a quarter inch of dust on it.
I just spoke to Greg and had a couple of questions answered for potential fence sitters.

1. Can I upgrade to wheels later? A: Yes. The legs have threaded levelers on them so in order to add wheels, you need to remove the levelers, drill the threads out and bolt the wheels on. (I decided I'd opt for wheels now, because the wheels are the real beauty of the stand, aren't they?)

2. Can I use the same stand, with a different adapter, for a different bike? A. Absolutely. (Adapters are $64 (don't quote me on this price as my memory sucks)). His list of adapters is constantly growing.

I'm all in. This thing will make changing tyres so much easier. If you are a fence sitter, don't rely on my piss poor memory, give Greg a call.

What's that? five to go, that's one a day like the vitamins.
Glad to see Linga did'nt Linger and Maddog could wrestle the paypal from his lovelies hands.
Would be funny to see some poor schmuck buy on the twentysecond and screw his fellow Dukers out of some duckets. I would'nt want to be the culprit and you now someone will let the cat out of the bag.
I saw a fair share of "I'm ins" in earlier posts, need to ring their bells.
I am serious, I will buy the Sandusky bullet, I am sure he wishes he had the guts to use about now.
Penn State to the State Pen is too good for that bastard.
Ooops I do digress.
So this is the list so far of people who have paid:
1)Dribbleduke
2)Linga - 2 stands

When you pay please copy and paste this list adding your name and post it up so everyone can know how close you are to getting the extra discount.

@MotoMfg Any chance on getting a European distributor for these so we won't lose an arm and a leg on shipping costs and import duties/taxes?
We are trying to get a Europeon and Austalian distributor setup. It is a tough process. If anyone knows someone who might be interested please feel free to let me know.
Thanks

Is it possible to still sort out some shared shipping Linga? I'm in perth and keen as if we can get the shipping down.

Let me know and I am good to go.
PM me your number and we'll chat.
I sorted MrZ32 as I'm importing Smokdu's SDR to race in Perth.
Space might be the only issue as I've only got one crate and most of it is full of Motorbike.
I'm home till Monday so we can sort something out, I've been ringing everyone I know in the industry to become a dealer but no luck yet.
Thanks to Linga I'm in on this buy. I've contacted Aaron at MFG so will wait and see what happens next.
Times a clicken away on this guy's,,,,,,why delay,,,,,,just send payment and worry about it later,,,,at least you'll have an awesome stand for an awesome bike that,,,is all that matters,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

These stands are awesome ,,you can completly dissasemble the motorcycle down frame with just one stand,,,will keep my front handle Pit-Bull for doing chain adjustments,,,everything else on the lift,,,,makes so much sense it's a "no brainer" three more members "must" have the money

Yee Haw
Three to the west and three to the east. There is three thousand miles between needing three more. That's one every tyme zone. That could be BHC Az and parts of Kentucky and or Ohio. Surely theres some need between those two great bodies of water.

Hmmmmmm ... I like it, and the site says what models it works for, but the pics indicate that it also works for Duc STs ...

What's involved in changing the stand from one bike to another - is that process tool-less? It appears that you have to mount something on the bike for it to function - ?

Any chance its in the works to use with GSX-Rs?

The 10% is appealing, which is just about equal to the shipping cost ... but its a lot IMO to be able to use for only one bike, and I'm not going to buy a half-dozen of them.

So, I'm confused on the having to get 10 - is the discount then greater than 10%?

Sure would be the quick way to get the warmers on and off ...

And BTW - I hate Paypal. Ebay - should rename itself to "Extortion R Us".

Nerd:
Take a look at my post above. Basically you need a different adapter for different bikes. Adapters are around $68. The Ducs require an adapter, but the pin goes through a hole that's already in the bike's frame.

The owner, Greg, is working on different adapters for diff bikes. He's presently working on one for the S1000rr. Not sure if he has a GSXR adapter now or not. Give him a call.

Thanks guys for all the orders. It is a shame you did not get the 10 orders. I actually only got 8 orders not 9 like the list says so if you did not get your tracking number send me an email. All of the stands except for Dribble duke's went out yesterday.

As far as the question about the adapter plates for other models, They cost $65 and take about 15 minutes to change over. We have them available for most Ducatis but are adding new ones weekly. If you are interested in a specific model send me an email and I will let you know if/when we plan to make it. If you have any other questions the fastest way to get an answer is to email me. It gets tough to sort through all the questions we get on here and other forums.

These stands will be available soon from your resident KTM expert

Have a good Thanksgiving and let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks

I got mine today. I will wait to post some ideas till others have a chance to chime in. I need to print out a picture of the adjustment parameters for an easier fit.
Thanx for the discount and super fast delivery.
Thank you Greg, Thank you nysdhooligan.
My kids home for. thanxgiving and life is sweet. he looks good.
I picked up my lift from Greg yesterday. I had the opportunity to have Greg demonstrate the lift on the SD he had at the shop. He made it a point to emphasize the importance of fully engaging the pin in the bushing. The bushing that replaces swing arm pivot collar nut does not have the integrated hardened washer that is on the stock unit. That is the only concern I have with torqueing the bushing down to 96 ft/lbs is that it is not fully distributing the load across the contact surface. I want to install a washer but am not sure if the bushing will be too far out from its original intended location. Maybe Greg can chime in with some information.
Anyway, it was great to meet Greg and his grass roots operation. He had a couple of nice Ducs sitting there. I have to admit, I was drawn to his Hypermotard complete with his accessories and carbon bits. I like the big Supermotos which prompted me to visit our local Duc, KTM, Husky and Guzzi dealer that was down the road from MotoMfg.com to see what he had in stock.

I'm in.
Looks like I'm too late. Emailed Greg, well see what happens.
Dribble,
You say the nut and the washer is smaller. I only have the bushing/nut, no washer.
Am I missing a part?
