Well it will come as no great shock i imagine that the bike has been stripped down and some of it cleaned/greased/checked.

Apart from the rear caliper issue in other thread, i've found nothing of note to worry about So that's quite nice.

Bike is coming up pretty nice considering the high miles and the commuting in winter, very good advert for KTM's build/bolt quality i think. Apart from the disk bolts and 2 small other bolts the bike is in great shape.

Previous owners cleaned all the big bits, so things like underside of calipers, underside of swing arm and a few tricky places under the engine were all left a bit dirty, but all now cleaned up.

Tyre pressures were on the low side, 29.0 and 29.5, which is even worse considering i stuck some air in them yesterday after experiencing a few strange handling issues at slow speed. Was planning on swapping the front out today for new rubber, but may not bother now, partly because i don't have the 12mm Allen key i need (in post on way) and partly because i'll pump them up both ends to a respectable ammount and see how it handles.

Chain came up lovely, but rear sprocket is a bit yukky... although prefectly functional. Chain tension and lack of tight spots pleases me.

Pads on the front have probably got until the end of season in Oct left in them and they'll then be binned.

All in all, pretty good and very happy
there no pleasing some people lol
Well had another little look at the front tyre and it was horrible, very angled/squared off, so this morning i stuck a part worn Supercorsa on there. I've had my boy all day so not had a chance to test it yet, but tomorrow arvo i'll hopefully be giving it a thrash if the weather holds.
Oh happy days. The difference is like night and day. Front end feels brilliant with the part worn Supercorsa on there... Very very pleased with the transformation
