hi guys i,ve just been out on my bike for the first time since getting the akra map loaded in i,ve got mivv pipes as well, the bike goes really well but the snatchiness when going through towns at low speed is unbelievible! i had a ride on it in october when i just got it and it was standard and i can,t remember it being as snatchy, i,m really pleased with the bike otherwise it goes really well and the handling is awesome but this problem will drive me crazy, i can,t afford a pc and theres nobody i know of in scotland that could tune it anyway, i,ve done a search but the list of threads is endless for this problem so what is the best way to sort it out? i wondered if adjusting the throttle cables might help but i didn,t want to go fecking about with them til i sought advice from here first, any help greatly apreciatted
hello mate i have the same can's as you and had the akro (baffles out) map put on, mines fine but i've also removed the 02 sensors.
I removed all the slack out of my cables, not because it ran poorly but felt like an eternity to get it to the part of the throttle where it accelerates.

Am i right in thinking the SAS removal asists?

Do you have stock SD or SDR?
mine is an sd the snatchiness is terrible even going over a bump in the road makes it lurch!

As this is the cheapest alternative, costing nothing but a little fuel. I would do the idle for at least fifteen minutes routine before throwing any other solution at it. It is important that the idle time at the installation of the new mapping is adhered to. I have noticed that not all days are the same as far as snatchiness is concerned. I would not like to attribute to just rider input nor to a finnicky bike as I think that both situations can exsaserbate simultaniously. In my experiance, the more I ride it under these conditions the more it settles down. This is what happens when You purchase a bike that has a soul. You need to meld your psyche with the Cyclee. Good luck
