Handlebar Grips

Just a quick query...what handlebar grips do you use?

I've had my 990 SD for 2 weeks now and its got heated grips on. I personally find them to large in diameter and very slippery, especially when taking advantage of that quiet twisty road (that's a bit bumpy) I had Renthal superbike grips on my previous bike and right liked them...

Go down to the local bike shop and get a appropriate sized inner tube.
Cut to length and your set. Used over my R&G heated grips.
Never wear out the heated grips, just replace the inner tube with a fresh one whenever, as well as getting all the grip you can use.

I have been considering getting the Rizoma ones.

Pointless and expensive but they look good in black. Not sure if they would work with the quick action throttle on my bike though. Plenty of alternatives out there.

that's a good idea Vtwin...I'm fancying changing for the summer really. I must admit I find the heated grips a bit large diameter wise...I might give the innertube idea a bash first though, I've got loads of olds ones at home
