IME they ignore you... whatever you ride, you ain't one of the bros.

If they do give you a nod, then it's pretty unusual.

Members of groups like these laregely display a true lack of a sense of self, so what others think becomes intensely important to them. I know that this seems self-contradictory considering their "nobody else matters" facade, but that's all part of the "cool" image that is so important to them.

The lack of a sense of importance confidence they have can make them unpredictable........like a scared dog. Some scared dogs run, some bite. Somebody who needs to wear club colors to be known as "tough" is someone, trust me, who you should not care whether they nod or not. Your wanting recognition from them just plays into their insatiable need for attention and to be seen as "somebody".

Just ignore them. Anyone who cannot should ask themselves why they need the validation. I don't mean that as a shot at the original poster, I'm speaking more generally.
