#5What Jester say is right and cant see how it will be that different in USA. As long as you can prove current market value you should be paid out according to that. Like for like replacement also long as its under the insured value.
I went through this a month ago when my 07 superduke was write-off, got the adjuster to go onto autotrader website and talk him through the difference of 06 and 07 models etc and got the value I wanted for my bike.
