HELP. Removing ignition barrel from triple clamp

I've got my new black anodised triple clamp and started taking off the original to swap them over but realised that the ignition barrel is attached with two screws to the underside. They have no visible means of unscrewing them - good for not being taken apart by would be thieves, bad for me.

Does anyone know how you are meant to take the barrel off? It must be possible somehow so you can replace the locks if you ever lost all your keys.

if you are on about the torque screws you have to cut a slice in to them to take off the ignition barrel and use a impact driver to unscrew,you may have to heat up the triple clamp where the threads are as they are thread locked in,i had to take my ignition barrel off a few weeks ago as the key would not turn in it propely and this is what i had to do...im going to the garage later and can take a pic of the slots i made in mine to get them out if it helps.you can buy new torque screws from ktm and when you tighten them back up the head of the bolt then snaps off as security to make it difficult to take ignition off so they cant remove steering lock if on,there's 2 screws under neath which you can unscrew and pull the lower part down and you can then start the bike like that...lol so not so secure after all...lol

Pisses me off really, I'm pretty sure that the conical heads of the anti-tamper screws are sunk into the base of the barrel/cast bracket - does this mean you have to cut through the bracket wall to make the slot in the head?

If so that's really crap.

The heads on mine are conical with a small nipple on the top about 2mm in diameter.

yes same as mine they stick out a few mm's to cut slices in them,

The 08 underside dsamper fits here - is this waht you mean? -
