I think we will kurb their efforts - with out moderator vigour and day and night shifts!

They will figure that is there is no spam... and their posts are deleted in minutes - there is no point in posting crap.

A better login system would help too.

I'm a mod on anther bike forum, and we had horrendous spammer-itis. The best solution so far has been to change the registration procedure to 'Admin Approval' before activation. Most spammers and all spam-bots seem to be stopped cold by the extra steps and waiting.

Been working well so far.....
