HM Racing Dyno Fun. 129.48 baby!

Just finished first map. Baffles out no ignition advance. Came in at 123.43 finished at 129.48. Not bad for a 06 with 40k miles on it. Just doing baffles in now and then some ignition advance. Hoping to see early 130s but tbh I'm chuffed to bits to even see 129! Graphs up later guys

Hey Duncan, you say your lookin at your SDR at the moment wondering what to do with it. Maybe lend it to Klink to have her valves banged & ragged to heaven & back. Maybe your not hard enough on her?

Even though I increased rev limit to 10k he hasn't gone past 9600. Could be argued she would pop past 130 with that extra 400rpm. Will keep updated as results come in.

Had to give up with TuneECU and ignition advance. He was having problems reading the map. Was just coming up to 3 hours so I called it quits. Pity but 129 will do me fine.

Bloody good numbers there dude, that full system and pulled secondarys makes good HP gains huh

Be intresting to see how she pulls when compared to TJs or similar when you go Brands

I only am getting 124.22bhp and 75.80 torque. Thats same spec engine as you - with full Akra system, Motobox andh secondary Motoflies fitted. Not got the 30K miles on it though!!

Torque run. Not sure why he didn't give me the torque for the run above but I had to ask him for a torque graph at the end.

daryl was suprised to learn that his old SD was still going strong and even more surprised when i told him it was producing high twenties BHP at 40,000 miles! - Just hope the duchess's lasts as long and keeps going as strong as it also belonged to him!!!

When I was there last Thursday I may have mentioned to Dave that if a fella that looks like Ronald MacDonald comes in for a remap he should add 10 fictitious horsepower to the results.... Still, I dont imagine he would listen to me or even want the 50 quid I offered him to do it Although he did say if I made it 100 quid he would dyno Motorbilityronin's zoomer scooter at 133bhp just for the hell of it

Sounds like I ought to look for a spare rear then. Seems like a dyno run is the way to go. How is it running on the road? Throttle response smoother?

Nice one Klincky, that's pretty awesome, shame about the ignition advance, would have been interesting to see what that brought to our earlier models, what exactly was he unable to read, I thought you just added to the trim table with 1 unit per degree

TuneECU is no harder to read a map than reading a PCIII map - can't understand the relactance to use it.

Lets face it a monkey can tune a bike using the dynojet set-up - takes a little more skill to use TuneECU as its a more manual process.

The fact that TuneECU is now used by plenty of KTM, Triumph and now Aprillia users, you would have thought tuning companies would be seriously looking at it.

Interesting that it still makes more power over 9 grand. Mine kind of leveled out at 8 grand. Makes me even more bummed that I will never be able to tweek my motor with TuneECU to see what I could have gotten out of her. I sure would have loved to have raced with 20 more HP!
130 would have blown my mind!!
