There I was, resigned to the idea of selling my lovely 2008 SDR and thinking that such as pristine machine would sell easily. Well, it didn't and after riding it a couple of times more I decided to send it it to be dyno'd (installed a PC3 last year and never got around to properly tuning it). I then decided to throw on some new rubber (2CTs - hates the stock Pirellis), gave it a good service new fluids everywhere and checked valve clearances - all perfect. Got the dyne back - nice 132.32hp and went for a spin. fook she's a beauty !! So, she's staying and so I am I. At least for another season.
Here's the dyno:

Rapid? I have no idea - she almost scares me Sounds great, as I'm sure yours does and yes, goes like the clappers! Very happy to be keeping the beast.

I can not agree with you more. I often get side tracked dreaming about another bike. I have done all the usual mods to my 08SDR and at this moment there is not a time when I get off it that I dont think to myself I have found my soul mate on two wheels. I am in love with this bike and I only cheat on her with her sister for she is a little more dirty
