How many miles until your low fuel light comes on?

Guys,
My low fuel light hasn't worked for sometime, the light on the cluster comes on during self-test so i know it's not a burnt-out lamp.
Over the winter I changed the low fuel sensor in the underside of the tank so I'm just wondering how many miles most people are generally getting before the lamp comes on. I know, I know...your mileage may vary.
I don't want to run it until dry because it's really not the best thing for fuel pumps.
I'm at 162 miles now and figure I must be getting close.
Thanks
Lou

Have a look at as it shows that it can vary a very large amount (ignore the handbags, although quite funny). The US bikes among us seem to get a fair bit higher than the rest of the world for some reason.

150-160 on a 08 Sdr till the light comes on.
129miles on a 07 with custom map, motobox, moto flys and sas removed.
Think I got 105 miles out of my 06 once. On the whole a whole lot less than that though. Can't believe anyone is getting 150+ miles out of any SD. More right wrist required me thinks

I had an 07 tank on my 06 bike and never got more than 120 miles. Tanks are same size US and EU.
'08 I normally see between 98 - 110
62-68 miles
dont matter how i ride it either
With me at 162 miles and no low fuel light I think I may have one of the few prototype hybrid SD's.

The only time I have achieved such high mileage to a tank was sitting at 80-85 mph in France on motorways.
i get 30 or less mpg and i live in the usa. i have full akras tho..i was thinking more air flow = more fuel used.

I've gotten 140 miles at most before the light comes on. That was just riding tho, holiday weekend and too many obstacles (Harleys) and cops on the road.
78.
