A brush, WD-40 or kerosene. WD-40 is essentially kerosene.

I bet you boys over there on the island use a lot of WD!?

Just don't get any WD40 on the brake pads or brake disc!

WD40 & a clean cloth - keep it off the rotors though, and if you do, don't spin the wheel until you've cleaned it off otherwise you'll contaminate your pads.
