#11Easiest way to tell is to ask a dealer;
' The 07 is a pile of crap, no more power than a standard SD, ridden by a maniac, thrashed within a inch of its life everyday and that is why I am only able to offer you half the price you paid for it last year, sir.'
' The 08 is a magnificent machine with extra power from the exclusive Akra headers and redesigned top end. We have one of the very few in stock and cannot let it go for less than £8995. In fact it is bargain and we may even charge more. We take all types of credit card and open on Sundays'
Unless they have already sold their full allocation for this year in which case;
'The 09 is the ultimate SDR, a small deposit now will secure a reliable well sorted SDR that doesnt have fueling issues, lose all it coolant, lock the back wheel for no reason and have a permanent oil light showing. If you have the 08 model we would consider a p/ex for half the price you paid us last year, sir'
'Whats that? you have an 07? well we could take it off your hands for £50 and a can of chain lube'.

#12Hahahah! How true... Yesterday I asked; "So does aftermarket goodies carry value on these bikes", the answer I got was: "Yes, especially Akros"... Of all the bikes I've bought and sold, no buyer has paid extra for accessories and I've never done the same either...
