This happened about a month ago... I was sitting at a traffic light in the middle of the night when a BMW pulls beside me, filled with some kids. They start accelerating next to me, so I thought "alright, race on!" We leave the lights, the beemer trying to accelerate hard and Im put-putting next to it... The speeds increase a bit and then I get bored and floor it... Leave the beemer standing in my dust and then it happens... Disco lights in the mirror... F*ck!!! Got caught speeding, 150 in a 60 zone... 2 lanes going in one direction, basically a highway. Well, as you all probably know, finnish law is very strict about speeding. The cops took my licence, for safekeeping.. Court date is sometime in september and I might be facing upto a 1 year ban...
So, in a spur of the moment sort of thing, I sold the mighty SD and bought a track beast... A Honda CBR954RR with all the goodies and then some!
The bike came with 2 sets of PVM wheels and 1 original set. It has a flowed head, PC3R, quickshifter, CF fairings, one-off custom tank, Wilbers suspension, Hyperpro damper, BKG adjustable triple clamps, etc etc. It tips the scales, fully tanked up, at only 174kg!!
Now I just need to get my ass on the track and learn to ride that thing...
