I'm still here...sometimes.

Don't want you all to think that I bailed out on the SD.net.
Since I sold off what was left of my beloved SD I have just been focusing on recovery.
I don't want to be a poser and act like I have ongoing SD adventures!
I still love all of my SD Brothers and Sisters!!!

Hey Man, keep an eye on us. You have plenty of knowledge to tap. Here is one for ya. I have a 08 SD. I am not interested on going over 100mph on the street anymore the way the law and fines are set for a free ride to jail and the removal of you bike and track days don't do much for me. Too much buck for the bang and I have too much gray hair to start a race carrer. So with that in mind do I need to buy the stearing triple clamp that drops the forks so the forks are not on such a steep strearing angle? So far I put about 3K on it and have had no problems. When does the that clamp start working? I am guessing over 120mph.

I am a real believe in if aint broke don't fix it but it's also a good idea to look ahead into the unknown. I like to learn from others mistakes. I hate to be blind sided. The bike now is bone stock except for plastic and it works great. If I change anything it wil be for handeling first, horse power second, bling bling last if at all. Thanks for the reality check. That dropped triple clamp was made for a reason. Just curouis.
