I've been lusting after an SD for about 3 years.

I've NEVER seen one on the road.

As I posted, I finally decided to do it and traded in my TL1000S on an 08 SD. I picked it up on March 1st.

I've only done a few rides but as the weather gets better, so do the rides.

Today, I was gearing back up after a quick water break and I hear a twin go by.

Yup, another orange SD.

I got in behind him and we stopped roadside at which time we both said; "I've never seen another one on the road!"

Turns out he's a member here too; badbikerbob.

I'm no longer unique. This must be how GSXRCBRYZFZXRRRRRRRRRR riders feel!
You could always kill him, bury the body in a snowdrift and chew on the remains so it looks like a bear attack........................At least that is what I would do to my victims if I lived in Canada
Serves you right for not buying the R!!!
Now now......Easy there gents!
Wait I just realised you're both locals... therefore I applaud you on NOT purchasing SDRs!! I'M STILL UNIQUE!!!!

Actually, I was riding around Campbellville several weeks ago and bumped into another SDR rider... I couldn't frickin believe it. I don't think there are more than like 10-15 in all of Canada and I had to bump into one! Good thing that guy stays well west of the GTA, else I'd have to sell!!!!
Funny......That's where we happened to bump into each other as well! Campbellville........Its what passes as "good riding" in Southern Onterrible, but the SD(R)'s seem to like it!
You guys live in a place called Campbellville ! Wow, still its not as bad as in the US.
