ICON Motorhead

Have an opportunity for a very special price on a ICON Motorhead jacket…anyone have experience with this product? One negative is there is no rear zipper to attach to pants…Thanks

I have one and went down in one. I'll upload pics when I get home (around 5pm PST).

I had a 40mph highside the zipper failed and exposed my chest and stomach. The shoulder vent lacerated my shoulder since there is nothing between the zipper and your skin. The leather it self held up great, only minor scuffs. The button on the clasp came off and dug into the top of my sternum.

Had the zipper not failed I think it would have saved me a lot more skin.

Interesting…YKK zippers are supposed to be the best. Anything mechanical can fail, sounds like conditions were just so and you got hurt...unfortunately.

Yeah it seems like it was just an unfortunate thing. A family member ended up buying me one when I got another bike so I switch between that and a Speed and Strength textile jacket.

I'm 6'4 200lbs and the XL fits great if that helps you with sizing at all.
