Thats a pretty bad one, i hope you get well soon......

I have been there ten years ago. It took me 5 months to decide for a new bike. It takes time to recover from these things.

90% of my riding is on track, as i consider it more safe...... (believe it or not)

OUCH! I hope that you'll be mended quickly. Wiping your own arse is so underrated, until you can't do it yourself. Hope they get the SMIDSY really well!

Glad to hear you're still around to tell the tale. We don't want to lose anybody. As far as whether or not you want to get back into bikes, your soul will tell you regardless of what your mind does. Been there, done that. As you just discoverd, life can be fleeting. Don't sit around safe and unfulfilled if your passion involves some risk; just be as smart as you can and always remember that worry is useless because an asteroid or Subaru could end it all in a moment whether you're on a bike or in a cross walk.

Heal well.

PS: I prefer my grapes in the liquid form
