Information overload, simplify it for me

Well, been a while since I've posted here.

Glad to say, never sold the bike. Was going through some tough times there for a while. It all worked out in the end thankfully! Damn that bike puts a smile on my face!

Anyway, I just ordered the Apex slipons for it yesterday through RevZilla. What the hell do I need to do to the bike to make it run right with these pipes? Akro remap at the dealer enough?
The bike is stock minus the 2nd and 3rd gear limiter mod.

Planning on the SAS removal and any and all emission control removal. We no longer have emission testing in my county!

I've been searching all over these forums. Especially in the how to posts with all the links. But, holy hell, so much info!

I am planning on knocking off the things on that list one by one. But some of them are still leaving me with questions even after reading all about it non-stop for the last two days.

I know this has been discussed in depth and I will continue to read and search the forums.

Akro map should be enough to hold you over til you get it tuned on the dyno if that's your thing.

I'm running the Akro smoothed map on my bike and it really helped out with these mivvs. I also pulled the secondaries which made it ride a lot smoother at low speeds.

With the Akro map it'll run rich though, I always stick of fuel when I get back from a ride.

Comrade: The search button is your best friend. I bet if you typed in "gear limiter mod" you'd find your answer. If you can't find it try "2nd and 3rd gear limiter removal"
