[quote="Mr KTM"]Damn but it's cold outside...

Blue sky, no clouds, wind shrieking against the glass.

I unlock the shed. My heart racing with the thought of the unknown.
Wheel the bike out backwards allowing the morning to beam her sunshine
upon my orange burbler.

Insert the key and turn to hear the whir of whatever it is that whirs.
Depress the start button with my thumb. YES!! YES!! The sound of a SD
with a flat battery breaks no noise.
START YOU BASTARD!! START!!

She has forsaken me for a warm and cosy shed.
The sultry temptress seeing life only after connecting to an electricity doner.

It's cold, so cold. I need to pee. Six k's to the servo.
Fill with fuel and wipe the snot from the inside of my visor.

Let the hunt begin.
Not really mate.

NZ Version:

Get up. Swigg a brew and jam a steak n cheese pie in the pie hole.

Put gear on.

Fire up the scooter and go for a fang.

Get home and drink piss (beer) till your head caves in.

Shit you guys are out of luck - South African version is far easier and more fun;

My routine;

18h00 the night before, I give the bike a nice relaxed wash, then tootle down to the garage to fill up. Get home, have a cuppa coffee and into bed by 22h00 after draping my kit all over the lounge...

04h00 - Wake up, have about a litre of fresh orange juice - Jump in the shower.
04h30 - Wheel the bike out the garage, Sun almost up, getting lighter. Check the wallet for bribe money (if needed), and make sure the licence plate has, um, fallen off again...
04h45 - Into my leathers, kiss the still-sleeping kids good morning, and the kinda-awake Smurfette goodbye (and get the compulsory "ride safe").
05h00 - On the bike, zips checked and I'm off to the meeting point, as the Sun rises over the trees.

Beautiful, just beautiful!

The most difficult desicion I have to make with my riding buddies is whether we're running from the cops or if it's a bribe day. If there are BMW riders with us, it's a bribe day because they will stop (good for you lads!) and rat us out (bastards!)...

The only (minor) issue is that we have to ride on the highway for about 75km before we get to corners.
