i was there in '06 and it was almost a spiritual awakening, doesn't matter where you are, if you're even slightly contemplating going DO IT! I'm taking a bike next time!

how fast were you going?
when i was there they were enforcing limits through towns but in the mountain section they were just watching, mainly a presence against "stupidity" i was told.
"mad sunday" was a one way run across the mountain with a start/stop checkpoint and again, towns were policed.

#8Its mad Sunday all week now (the mountain from Ramsey Hairpin to Creg Ny Baa is one way and no speed limit all week..... )
I was going for my second early morning lap just under 90mph in 60mph (it was a temperay speed limit for TT normally no limit on this section) Brandish onto Hillberry straight ...he was a the bottom of the hill under the trees....doing a very good trade to be honest it was a fair cop and had not complaints...he had a sense of humour to telling me when I asked that ...'It would just be a fine ....But......it would be reasuringly EXPENSIVE'
Just a note to the wise....you do not get point's in the IOM.....but if you get banned there you are banned in the UK as well
