Just a picture opinions please

Well its has been a long spring for me with no DUKE time at all. I had to have back surgery and it has kept me off my favorite toy, which still only has 1100 miles on it. I thought it deserved a little TEAM colors on it so I added some orange. Not sure I like the side panels yet over the all black look, but I know it will help a little with the safety factor. It is ready and waiting hope to get on it by mid-july, can not afford to go down in the healing stages, not that it was even in the game plan any ways. As always it has been a pleasure visiting the best DUKE site on the web!!!

I like it ,what will be next orange seat strap or mabey a orange band on the lower fairing ,its good to have ones own look ..........Hope things go well with the back ,im doing the cordisone shots and t3s ,not bad enough on the cat scan to do surgery they say cracked virtibrate chip in neck and bulged & compact disc its not to bad only bothers when im sober and awake simotaniously (injured back joke )hope your back in the saddle soon

I think you should order the RC8 front fender (exact match to the SD) - in ORANGE. I've been waiting to see someone do this.

I agree with you spataro, I felt I needed some team colours too (and maybe give my viewing audience a notion that it is actually a KTM) I didnt really like the lack of orange on my black SD (and the orange one had too much IMO) so i fixed it by simply put orange vinyl stickers over the top. I did a trace of the decals onto paper, scanned it in, vectored the graphics and cut it with a vinyl plotter. I stuck the vinyl on so it was slightly off to one side of the original to give it a tiny drop shadow. I had to redo it a couple of times cos the vinyl I used wasnt quite thick enough, and the black background behind showed up a little bit, making it look browny. Fixed it with a nicer blockout vinyl! I think it really did the trick... Next thing to do is orange up the spring.
