I know the orange ones are a bit slower, but it's only my second bike, so in a few years I can still upgrade to a black one

#19i got my SD at 23 and the thing is modded to the brink... keep the orange... it always stands out. Love it or hate it, it will always get the most attention and be instantly recognisable.
Although I wouldnt mind a white SDR with an SD seat, a mix of the orange/black and white looks great.
but black makes it look like every other bike around... boring
which is why its always orange for me as it is meant to be a loud crude and obnoxious bike
That being said I do have a spare set of black pannels that I keep for when I get too much attention from the wrong people (when lying low is necessary)

Ordered my first accessory: a nice alu paddock stand. Previous bike had a centre stand, so don't have one yet. I hope it will arrive by mail tomorrow.
I walked into the garage today, just to look at the sd: What an amazing thing! Everytime I walk up to the garage now I have a huge smile on my face, and I have to pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming!
