THIS BIKE WAS BUILT BY HITLER, I fooking swear it!!!

It took me longer (by an hour!!!) to change the oil on the SDR than it did to tear my gixxer down to this:

3.5 hours! WTF!!!! Am I just a clueless hippie idiot or what?
I think you just dragged it out a bit
There is a drain plug, you don't need to suck it out with a straw....
I think a bulk of that time was spent trying to remove the bottom drain plug and then trying to put it back on around those fat akras... until I gave up and removed half the mounts and bolts so I could just barely pivot the pipes out of the way slightly so as to get the damn bolt in.

Horrible, just horrible. I think 2 hours in I lost my balls and grew a vagina, will have to confirm when I jump in the shower.

the special tool is removing the headers. otherwise you just suck it up and take your time. A long time. I really dont like how oil spills all over them when i change it out, but its KTM. love to ride it, hate to work on it
Hmmn, I feel for you. All my spannering adventures always seem to end in disaster. In the end I always have to get a grown up to help...
Very frustrating.
