firstly i must say i havent lost my mind ,im keeping my 09 s/duke, but picked up a mint 1998 fireblade that has been cherished by an older fella , only done 18000 , took it out yesterday to find out what a cracking bike it is for a 13 year old, it goes and handles well , still looks sexy and its nice to do top end power speeds with great stability. picked it up for a bargain price of 1700 uk pounds !! with a year mot/six months tax and new tyres new chain and sprockets !!! cant believe what you can get if you trawl the web looking for bargains ,
just got a fireblade iconic bike 1998 !

#2Very nice, my first bike was a 93 900RR aka Fireblade. One down on the front sprocket and it would lift the tyre from just accelerating.

#3Nice. These are the sort of classic bikes I like. What model / colour is it? The really early ones 93/94's are going up in money now, particularly the urban tigers. Does yours still have the 16 inch front wheel?
