Had to have a new shim - supposedly on back order from ktm but after looking on here i noticed that the sduke uses the same as the harley & mv / rsv.. Have to remember that if i keep her that long

Amazing difference it makes having it serviced.

Now all she needs is for me to lose some weight - power to weights getting a trifle unbalanced and a custom map .

That's not to bad for a 9k service. Mine cost me $767 with the extra hour to adjust the rear valves. I did find a guy who is an ex KTM mechanic who now has his own shop that said he would do it for half the price so I might try him next time if I'm still in this area.
