Just in case I wasn't sure my water pump seals had gone....

Bike has been using a bit of coolent for the last week or so. Had a look in the oil tank and seemed clean as a whistle. Anyway I was changing my throttle cables today as they were getting a bit stiff. Whipped off the Motobox lid and what did i find.....


Gunge! and lots of it. Good job she is going into the shop on Wednesday to get it all fixed. Annoying thing is I only changed the oil 1 trackday ago and cleaned the K&N air filter 3 weeks ago.

I'm sure your probably right, there's a breather for oil in the airbox so it's feasible it's just blown it up in there under hard use at lydden.

Gadang! This is the first I took a look at this thread. Yup... Thats what happens when you mix oil and water in a blender= Mayo Though I wouldnt recomend it as a condamint I once flooded a Jeep in a deep stream crossing and had that goo spuwing from every breather on the motor.

I guess on the up-side you have a K&N that will only need a good cleaning insted of a $50 OEM paper job
