#49My old SP1 engine felt very tight from new and therefore I broke it in quite carefully but the GSXR 750 felt fine and I was more free with the revs. For both bikes I changed the oil and filter after 50kms. With modern engines and oil it is not so important but since it does not cost a great deal (in time or money) why would you not do it.
