Just been out on the beast! Boy am I buzzing! Jesus, you lot need to stop moaning and keep flying the flag, because on the road nothing, and I mean nothing, stands in it's way. I am no track mad biker, but today I have such a hugh grin! Z1000 10 plate = Crushed! Monster 09 plate = wanked upon. FZ1 10 plate = mashed. Simply, we ride the best naked there is. Oh and the guy on the 07 blade who asked me if it was standard after whipping his ass through Derbyshire today, PMSL...
Just one tiny point. The Corsa three tyres + rain = Heart attack!
Sorry for the rant, I'm just soooo happy that I got this bike! Stood in CMC Claycross and thought, it's still the only bike I want!
lol.

Glad you like it.

The normal question I get is "What is it/Is it a Ducati?" lol. My mates can never understand how I keep up with their "race bred" bikes, but yet none of them take up my offer when I ask them if they want to try it....
My bike still puts a grin on my face EVERY time I ride. On paper the bike never made sense to me, but I haven't ridden a bike yet I would swap it for.

And yes, I got rid of the corsa 3s even though they had about 25% left, I loved them on dry warm days, but j like riding all year round and hated them in the cold or wet.
I swapped them for pilot road 3s, I know, a road tyre, how controversial, and love them.

Grendel agrees. He is getting ready to get a new bike next year an the thought of selling his SD never even crossed his mind. It is truly a long term keeper.

As for the tyres, Grendel agrees with that too. The Pirelli's are fantastic in dry and hot. Grendel has swapped to the Metzler ME5. Second set spooned on and they are fantastic, wet or dry.

ive got angels on mine and all i can say is awesome!!!
+1

I've done things on the Angels that I never thought would be possible from a sport touring tyre, I'll definitely use them again for road riding, no hesitation.
I rock Angel STs, and they suit me just fine
what kind of life are you guys getting out of your tyres? My rear diablo 3 was gone after ~6000miles.
Mine (Corsa 3) is on 1600 miles and its nackered!
