Remember where you got this tip:
Lemon Pledge wipes.
Yes, Lemon Pledge wipes.
Use them on your helmet & shield, carbon bits, windshield, anything that you can't/don't wash & wax. The wax in the wipes fills in minor scratches in the clear coat/plastic, and helps objects slide off instead of stick (like bugs off your helmet). Minimizes fog build-up on the inside of your face shield. Smells nice, too. Clean your gauge viewscreen, headlight, anything clear or tinted plastic. Doesn't work on the matte finish of the SD, you want to use it mainly on shiny surfaces. Take a small ziplock bag with 1 or 2 wipes, and a micorfiber cloth (to polish it off) on your rides. They last quite while, so don't throw it away after every use. OK, now you owe me one.
Do not try this with the Orange Pledge wipes - even though it works the same; the scent can be overpowering inside a helmet, and the orange attracts bees. Trust me on this one.

#9I concur lemon pledge ,I use the spray kind on my bikes and old cars spray on rag then wipe on a shiney black truck it will leave some smudges ,but when your done go back over with a dry lint free cloth and it looks like you have been polishing all day ,my other trick is fast orange hand cleaner on a rag ( without the grit ) wipes off chain lube ,wheel grime then just pledge it

#12the hood on that one is clear coated ,no polish needed on my other car yet lol its still in pieces was one here one time have had t since I was 18 and find bits here, there ,have 5 other projects to finish and sell pays for parts on my 2 cars ,have lots of work yet on the T 600hp 327, before inter cooled to4 turbo,4 whl disc brakes,b&m,edlebrocked out , building my own fuel inj system,rci fuel cell ,lol no not rich just very ,very busy to feed the need for speed .
