What are people using for keychains? I need to get one and I was looking online for a nice KTM one but didn't find anything.
I got a SD shaped rubber one off the internet (ebay I think). It's a bit naff but my boy, who is not yet three, loves it
I've got a little alpine stars glove which is pretty cool (I think)
Go on eBay U.S. and search for KTM key chain. I've got the black/carbon supermoto one. Nice piece, though it says supermoto.
Boney, I saw those to but was looking for ones like Maddog just posted. I'll see if they ship to the US.
i got a wrench shape rubber KTM keyhanger. It came with it when i bought the bike new.
Sticky backed hook and loop, carpet portion on key both sides. Sticky back hook piece on under side of tank panel. I leave my key on the bike at all times and go sans key loss wherever I go. I have done this on all my bikes and have traveled many miles and many days away from home with no key issues ever. I have had a bike that i disconnected the kick stand switch and used it as a safety no start when away from the bike with a month of touring Mexico and no issues there either. Keychains are for cages. The less clutter the better.
Don't use one as it bounces around and scratches the crap out of your bike. Keep house key in the jacket and bike key stand alone.

Speaking of keys, anyone know a place to buy KTM blanks from to have spares made?
I got a blank from a KTM dealer here in SD for $7 and then paid $5 to have a locksmith cut it.
I believe there is some kind of electronics in the keys of the 07+ models, making a key duplication quite costly.
I am with MRZ32. What a shame to see triple clamps screwed up by a wad of keys. I use a piece of leather 3/8 inch wide and 10 inches long. Cut the ends at a angle. Make a lenght wise cut about 1 inch long mid-way and weave it around the key hole. I stoled this idea from my Langlitzs leather jacket zipper pulls. The leather is e-z to find in the pocket, you know if it's yours, and your good friends reconize it's yours if you mis-place things. If you trash you leathers cut some good sections out for times like this. Memories!! One of these days I will figure out how to post pictures. compoters !! Img ? from above? no worky 4 me !

I use a disk lock reminder. Can't miss it so less likely to leave key in, plastic so no damage and it's orange
