Kriega luggage

I'm thinking about getting some Kriega stuff. Presumably the US40 (1x US20 + 2x US10) fits onto the back of the SD OK?
Does anyone have any experience of VCustoms in Telfords, UK?
Their Kriega gear seems really well priced (US40 £114.95 incl p&p)

Don't have a clue about pricing in the UK, but if you are considering the US 40, you may want to take a look at the US30 (which for some odd reason is not on the UK site). Here it is on the US site. http://www.kriega.us/products/kriega-us-30-drypack Check out the 5th picture.

I always thought the US30 was a 20 with a 10 strapped on top which I assumed I'd be able to do if I went for the 40.
Now I'm confused...!

On the site you posted, the us30 is a us20+us10 (2nd page, bottom) But the 1piece us 30 is new, and not yet listed on the site.

Not trying to hijack.., but has anybody come up with a tail rack for the SD yet?

The bags are waterproff. 100%. I was in the worst rain I've ever been, on the last trip.

I still like my old Bags connection Cargo Bag better, but I'm afraid it will melt on the pipes..

I use a mixture of Kriega and Ortlieb.
As for the Ventura stuff you can't fit it to a SD with the Akrapovic end cans without modification - its designed to work with the stock cans only.

i've got the us 40 and it holds a hell of a lot more kit then you'd think.

it'll also stay ona at just over 130mph too

awesome pictures guys! I was just looking at what Kriega had to offer and wondering how good it actually fits on there and if the US40 was too large for the seat, but I'm very glad to see that any version seems to fit good and stays away from the pipes. I'm getting tired of carrying a back pack on my back while I go for a weekend cruise or travel somewhere on it. I know that it isn't made for "touring" but I'm glad to see that there are options for luggage on the rear without mods. Thanks for the pics and info guys!

A way round the problem - sort of....if you join their VIP Club you get £20 off your first purchase. That brings it back down to a very good price (plus free postage if order is over £100)

I was at a KTM dealer recently blathering on about the price i paid for a R30 and he whipped out a calculator and told me he could have done me one for £109 which is a pleasant discount. Therefore, dealers are obviously able to discount goods at their descretion.....its by how much thats the really interesting bit.

Buying used gear is a good move. It is such good quality that it makes sense. There was even a US40 on ebay recently!
