It seems that every bike is dyno tested prior to shipping (note the numerous dyno rooms), for how long and whether this is enough to seat the rings is another question though.

#2They're belted through the gear a few times from what I understand but no where near full run in.
Just belt it hard out of the box and you'll be fine.

#3All manufacturers do this (even H-D believe it or not): It is not a full run-in by any means, more a QA exercise. Cuts down on the "infant mortality" rate.
