Anyone know of a dealer that is selling these at a reasonable price? They retail for $700 or so which is ridiculous. I've found them for $639, still a little (lot) steep.

I want the hard parts rearsets for 2 reasons. They'll bolt right up without relocating the MC and I can keep my Motohooligan heel guards.

If you can wait the MH rearsets will be out by the first of the year........ Mine will be compatible with the stock levers and heel gaurds as well, so you will have track day spares

Ive got a few friends that "race",,, like every track around and a trick on rear sets was to drill 1/8 in holes in the peg , in the middle so they "break off" there, leaving a stub ,,, every crash is different but inevitable if you ride aggresivly,,, the holes seemed to lesten the damage on some falls,,, I'll stick with the folding variaty however,,,,a big "non folding" peg would put more pressure on those lugs if they don't break off,,, my question is,, "has anyone here ever broken the frame lugs off " ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I would think that any peg that uses the same size mounting bolt would work just fine, The rear set backing plate just has a through diameter to facilitate the peg bolt.
