Thanks, but I'd like to stick with stock for now, the bike only has approx. 500 miles on it. Getting the parts from Europe isn't an option either as the currency conversion will work against me and I'll have to come up with the difference out of my pocket. The insurance company is already screwing me pretty hard as it is.

According to my dealer here in the U.K., KTM have long since moved their warehouse and everything is back to normal. How true this is, I'm not sure.

The ever elusive titanium evo silencers are still in the computer for the 26th of this month, maybe we'll start seeing them next week
Well over a month and still waiting on a mirror, clutch cover, brake pedal and some other pieces.

For the record I submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I dont know if it will do any good, but here is what I sent in:

I purchased a new 2007 KTM 990 Superduke on 05/10/2007. When I picked up the motorcycle both side panels were damaged. The dealer I purchased the bike from ordered new side panels prior to the 05/07/2007 purchase date. As of today, 07/10/2007, the dealer has not received these panels. I have contacted my dealer several times and they have informed me that KTM has a very large problem delivering parts to North America. I thought perhaps if the BBB contacted KTM it might let them know consumers in the US demand better service.

I would also like to point out I am not the only owner of a KTM experiencing this problem. Please see the following link to a KTM forum expressing consumer frustration.

The dealer I purchased the bike from is: Wilwert's Dubuque, IA, 52003 Please note that I have no objection to the service from Wilwert's. My complaint is with KTM North America and their ability to deliver much needed parts.

I suppose replying to this post with the very same link I sent to the BBB might be a bad idea, but I don't really care if it ends with a little better support.

I agree, whatever it takes to get them to straighten up and show some customer service would be a step in the right direction. I've been waiting almost 4 weeks just for a damn oil filter and it's still not in.
