If anyone's thinking of buying the above, a point of note & some advice gents please....
I've just bought an LED integrated tail light from www.motorcyclehidlights.com in the US advertised as E Marked. Delivery from these guys to Switzerland was within 1 week - so spot on. The light is every bit as well made as the KTM OEM but with a smoked lens. Fitted it yesterday to my SD and it looks the business.
Its 3 way plug fitted the SD socket, but the two indicator wires were fitted with male bullets & wont plug 'n' play with the SD. Not a problem though. It needed an in-line resistor to slow down the blink rate - also not a problem.
Two things though, one which really pissed me off - one of the four brake light LED's doesn't light so I need to go through all the grief of exchange to the US. To be fair, they have said they will exchange/refund.
My question - when the indicator LED's flash on, all the tail LED's go out - when the indicator LED's go out, the tail LED's come on. Is this legal in Europe - anyone know?
