Loaner tank

Damn cheeky of me this, but I've got a long-distance trip to Avignon in France in May and wondered if someone would loan me their bigger capacity carbon tank? For a fee?

Does anyone know where I can get one cheap? TriCounty hinted that because the 2007 model is now out, that there ought to be loads of cheap '06 tanks going around.

Can't offer you a carbon tank I'm afraid. The 07 tank sounds nice, but probably costs at least £700, so best plan your trip with plenty of stops !

I'm going to France meself in June & reckon max 100 miles between stops is gonna be fine. The Duke's not suited for long blasts on Motorways anyhow, so stopping every hour or 2 (depending on progress) seems about right.
