London Bike Demo

Just got back from the bike demo in central London against Westminster's bike bay charging policy.
I have never seen so many bikes before in one place, we brought central London to a standstill along the route down Whitehall:burnout:

Got gradually my arse cooked from the bikes exhaust underneath, as we trundled along at walking pace!

Got to Westminster Town Hall and everyone parked up, I had a bit of a wander around and left to make my way home.

I literally got a few minutes away, and zipped round Hyde park roundabout before suddenly some blues and twos fired up behind me. I pulled over, thinking they'd just go past as I hadn't been riding particularly out of sorts. But no, they tucked in behind me.
I killed the bike and they had me over for a chat.

Why was I riding a KTM like a lunatic in central London? I was tempted to say, that's fookin nothing you should see our Soho rideouts, but I chose the easier route and was apologetic, etc. After a bit of a lecture, he went on his way and left me with a slapped wrist.

Anyway, twas good fun and there was a great vibe from everyone, and people lined the streets to take photos and were clapping and cheering!
A few camera phone snaps of a few of the bikes, there must have been 1000+
