#5I recently had some work done at LA Honda here in the marina and I was impressed on the good work they did. I plan on letting them do my services from now on.
If you want to drive a bit, I had my bike tuned and SAS removed at Santa Barbara Motorsports. The service manager seemed to know the LC8 very well and did all the work on my SD.

#7There is only ONE good mechanic in the LA area:
Eric's Motorcycles in Pasadena. Eric, and his chief mechanic, Brent, eat, sleep, and drink KTM. Also, there are stories floating around the internet about how he has a bad attitude, etc. But, from my experiences, he is a fantastic person, very nice to deal with, is no more expensive than anyone else, and he is HONEST.
Trust me, it may be a long-haul for you from MDR, but it is worth it. When they did the 600 mile service on my bike it was perfect. You could not tell that they had the bike torn apart. Well, a couple of wrench marks on the valve-cover nuts, but that was it. No grease, nor fingerprints, scratches. Nothing. It was a truly great experience. And the best part was they asked ME when I wanted the bike back, instead of telling me when I could have it back. Pretty cool!

#11i would NEVER leave one of my bikes in Del Amo's hands. no friggen way.
i ride in the desert with Javier and all my buddies have him do their work so i went with him.
Javier has done many of my frinets suspension on their dirt bikes and when i rode them i was sold. no brainer to have him do my 525 forks and shock.
i only have 2,000 miles on my 525 so i do all my own work. when it reaches 6,000 miles or so i will have him tear into the motor for hone, rings, timing chain, etc.
