Someone on BARF noticed this bike for sale.

Grendel likes how he is just going to reroute the electronics in the chin spoiler and do with out.

That is his telling you that I had already reran all the stuff so the battery went under the seat. He doesn't have the battery box, chin spoiler or the know how to reconnect, methinks.

Do you think he's ripping anyone off?
Don't know anything about prices in the US but that doesn't sound too unreasonable to me or am I missing something?

This is the guy who got some rotors (I believe) from one of our guys here and didn't do his part of the deal. There was a thread about it somewhere. They figured out his address and I went to his house to ask him to not rip one of the SD.net brothers off and he didn't answer the door, even though someone was inside peeking out the window.
I left a note for him but nothing was ever resolved, as I remember.
What he isn't saying is that the forks were pretzels and he had them straightened. Probably OK for the street but I wouldn't track that bike. The motor should be sweet however as I changed the oil and filters every weekend.
That is if you want to deal with a scammer.
His name here was SDeric and he has since been dropped, I think.

Why would you even do business with him?

The forks being replaced and having Gerry Piazza check the frame and it might be ok after that.
Pretty much just the front bounced off the wall.
I think $2k for the motor would be good but he is a short cutting Filipino guy so who knows what he has done to it in a year?
I sold him the frame,engine and swing arm for $2k I think.

I debated mentioning this on BARF but the TOS don't allow it and the mods are pretty harsh. They do however despise moto people ripping other moto people off so sometimes they allow it if it is factual.
I think that Viking joining and his first post being a reference to the rip off would be cool.

I wish I hadn't sold it now as the motor would make a cool single seat dune buggy. I had thought about building one with it but didn't know if I would walk normal again let alone be fit enough to be fabricating metal projects.

I was very cool to this guy and gave him just about everything I had left at no extra charge. I am just glad he is off the forum.
This is one of the best and safest places I have ever been on the 'net.
Probably the only reason I stick around since I don't plan to ride again.
