OK, the SD seat is higher on a SDR than a SDR seat on a SDR. So a SDR seat should be lower on a SD than with the original seat.
The SDR tail conversion definitely puts a lot more of your foot on the floor.

I think most of the extra footing is gained because the seat is narrower and so your legs aren't forced as wide, thereby giving you more length without taking much if anything off the seat height.

I ended putting the biggest 15mm spacers on the SDR seat.
