The low speed running is the biggest gripe I have with the 2008 SDR. It is absolutely absymal. I have balanced the throttlebodies and it made things a lot better. A lot better, but it's still horrible.

The problem, for me anyway, is that I can't pinpoint exactly what's wrong. If it's the ECU, if it's dodgy O2/Lambda sensors, or if it's the mapping. I know that a PC3USB with O2 plugs and dyno time cures this (from reading here on the forum). However, I don't like PC3s for a few reasons. One being that it's an add-on to the OEM ECU. I'm also not pleased with the fact that if KTM sticks on another upgraded map for me, I need to redo the PC3, most likely on Dyno. (With the TuneBoy I could simply re-upload my own map.)

I would simply like to put something on the bike, or remove something off the bike that cures the crap low-speed running.
If money would be no object, I'd install two wide band O2 sensors, a datalogger on the bike and a dynamometer in the garage and buy the TuneBoy kit. Then I'd be self sufficient.

Rant over...

Just wanted to bring this back to the front page!
So which one do I pick if I have Akra slip-ons, Akra mapping of the stock ECU and no issues?
I will comment further, all's it would take is for one person to complain of a mid corner mishap,

loose the rear and nearly loose there leg or life. Then this go's to court, and the survey exposes the neglect of KTM.

The court should hold them liable and make everyone of us as a recipient of pain and suffering from this occurrence.

They will keep ignoring this until the dimwits are nailed in court.

Unfortunately this is the only way to get a stubborn corporation's attention.

class action's you will hear about cos by US law they must send you notification of this.

You guys are missing the point, this is a high performance V twin, it is not meant for pottering about in traffic like a CB 200.
