I have pliptons old bike that was custom mapped - since then I have added the motobox and blank plates - I have noticed that the bike is using way less fuel - it has a pc3 on it - can I install a map from here for the same setup ? onto my pc3 or is that only if u have a tuneboy ??

SPEC:
2008 SDR
Akras - sas removed - motobox - pc111 erm .......thats it I think

Yes I am retarded - I prefer riding to tinkering !
Couldn't find the answer, apologies if I've missed it. My 08 sd has akra cans and runs the dealer installed akra map. If I fit a bmc filter, will this map be ok? Or should I fit the power commander I have in the cupboard and find a more suitable map? Any help appreciated. Thanks, Matt.
If its sitting around go fit it, there is a map on it if you load it up for akras (with or w/o baffles) and aftermarket air filter.

May as well get the most of it with right map.
The akra map runs a little rich so I guess you would be fine. But like Dan said... if you have a PC laying around, why not fit it?
You can always remove the PC after the mapping and merge the PC map in the ECU map with TuneECU.
Thanks gents. Only reason I haven't fitted is no dyno here for setup. Also had heard something about sd's cutting out or running badly at times with pc fitted.
You can chuck a good few things at the bike with the Akra map and it still won't lean it out dangerously.

Peachy, if you fancy it we can try a few maps through TuneECU. I've just got to find the laptop I was using in the garage that somebody else has now adopted.
