Hey guys
I had a minor crash earlier tonight. Luckily I was only doing around 20mph (I had just come around a light controlled turn) when some guys drove right out in front of me. Cut to me picking the duke up from the asphalt.
So the left side panel got well scratched and the head shroud got a bit as well. The gear shift got well bent but is still operational and front wheel doesn't really point straight when the steering does. The right mirror got bent (I've no idea how the hell that happened! The bike slid on the left side). No worse than I was able to drive home (slowly but surely) the last few miles.
I guess those damages are pretty normal in a crash like that. And that everybody probably experiences that once.
I'm going to the dealership tomorrow to get them to check it out and fix what is needed.
My question here is: What can I expect to be damaged? What normally "breaks" in an accident like this? Also is there something I should be weary about myself when I look at the bike in the morning?
Basically they could tell me anything was wrong after something like this, and I just want to be on the safe side so I don't get ripped.
Luckily I got away with a sore shoulder, wrist and a scratched helmet.
